One of the most confusing areas of buying a bed is understanding the different sizes. European and American companies use different terminology as well as different companies preferring to use metric or imperial sizes. To try and make it a little bit simpler please consult our bed size chart.

Drawer Options
Whilst viewing the divan section of the website, you will notice that divans come with different drawer options. This page is here to explain to you the different drawer options on offer so that you can make an informed decision over which drawer option meets your required needs.
Platform Top
This means that the divan is on CASTORS, with no drawer storage options. This option is available in all sizes.
End Drawer Divan
The divan comes with one drawer only, situated at the end of the bed. Only available in 4’6 and 5’0 sizes.
Two Drawer Base
This Divan comes with two large drawers on either side of the bed. It is up to you whether you have these draws at the top or the bottom of the bed, as the divan comes as two half bases and then joins together. The draws open out away from the bed. Available as a 3’0, 4’0, 4’6 and 5’0, however if brought as a 3’0 both drawers are positioned on the same side of the base.
Jumbo End Drawer Base/ Three Drawer Divan Base
The bed comes with two large drawers that open out at the top of the bed, as well as a large drawer at the foot of the bed. Available as a 4’6 and 5’0.
Slide Store Base
This divan base comes with under bed storage for rooms with little space. Little space is needed at the sides of the bed, as the drawers slide open, rather than opening out away from the bed. If brought as a 4’0, 4’6 or 5’0 then the slide store drawer will be situated at the foot end of the base. However, if brought as a 3’0 then the slide store drawer will be found along the side of the base.
Continental Drawer Divan
Ideal for people requiring bedside tables. There are two drawers on each side of the bed. One large, one small, allowing room for bedside tables to fit in next to the bed. Available as a 4’6 and 5’0.
Jumbo Drawer Base/ Four drawer Divan Base
This drawer option is for maximum storage capacity as there are four large drawers, two on either side of the base. This option is available in a 4’0, 4’6, 5’0 and 6’0.
Continental End Drawer Divan
Small storage drawers on both sides of the base, allowing space for a bedside table. Large storage drawer at the foot end of the bed. Only available as a 4’6 and 5’0.
